French Revolution ran from 14th to 20th June with the fun starting in the Moselle department. The undulating Lorraine farmlands soon gave way to the Vosges mountains where crews got the chance to enjoy the wide twisting roads as they climbed awe inspiring cols. Delving through the Bas Rhin’s flower-bedecked villages rallying continued upwards passing fruitful vines to arrive at the cool lakes of the Haute Rhin.

This was not an endurance event and the rally routes were designed by John Walsh to let crews enjoy the unique mix of some testing old-fashioned regularity sections, run at achievable average speeds, whilst still having the chance of visiting the local attractions and relax at a café with friends, all which are distinctive features of a Conquest Event.

For 2010 we hope to visit beautiful Normandy in early June and full details will be posted soon, so watch this space!
